“Right vs Left”...REALLY?! Shouldn’t it be: “WRONG vs RIGHT”?

“Right vs Left”...REALLY?! Shouldn’t it be: “WRONG vs RIGHT”?

It feels like the world is falling apart...yet it isn’t

: “the world falling apart”, it’s: us tearing it apart - & what’s worse, We’re doing so knowingly with the choices we’re making. Humanity seems to be set on a plan to self-destruct. 

I honestly believe that the events that are taking place at the moment - this violence we are capable of, how we have misplaced our values, confused our priorities, torn ourselves apart, etc. - are not coincidental with the virus that has forced the world to stop, take a seat, watch & TAKE A STAND - Take a knee! These issues can no longer be brushed-off, swept under the carpet. These issues DEMAND our FULL ATTENTION. They demand we be sitting still (with this unprecedented extra time most of us have in our hands at the moment), so that we are forced to take a long hard look at what we’ve done...what we’re doing. Forced to acknowledge what is happening, encouraged to analyze & educate ourselves. 

I’m 44 years old. I was “raised republican”, & yes, I am among those who benefit from tax cuts. But my portfolio & my “political ideals” do not blind me from what’s going on & they definitely do not question the moral values that define me! They come a distant 2nd. & 3rd. to watching an innocent black man being killed in front of my eyes! 

I can’t say I belong to either party, I am molded by a DIVERSITY of MORAL values, I do not need to belong to any ONE definition of right & wrong. I’m not brainwashed by any party. I’m actually embarrassed by many, who I know are putting their tax-cuts above their moral values. How WRONG (& greedy) can you be to let your “NET-worth” rule over your “HUMAN WORTH”? How desperate to belong to a socio-economical group can you be, to not distinguish for yourself what’s right from what’s WRONG!?How pathetic, really? How are you NOT ASHAMED of yourselves?

Even worse! Individuals minimizing 1st.degree murder (seen with our own eyes on national television) to a petty statement of weather you’re a democrat or a republican? People: have you gone mad?! Researching history, numbers, census, poles, etc. to come up with arguments to deny that racism exists in the United States, or - even worse! - that black people deserve what they get, that they bring it on to themselves?! Let’s call it “Self-inflicted-genocide”, that way we can wash our hands clean of any responsibility of the racism that we’ve been carrying out for centuries! THE SECOND you have unquestionable, sickening evidence of a single, innocent, black man, being murdered by four white men, is the SECOND that any & all those arguments should be blasted out the window. We want to call ourselves, “righteous, moral people abiding to a code of ethics we established in our constitution”? We aspire to be taken as an EXAMPLE OF MORALITY & feel we have an ETHICAL DUTY to enforce HUMAN RIGHTS in other countries, but this is how we address them in OUR country? I call “BullShit”. Take a closer look. I am sick to my stomach of reading & listening to opinions & arguments focusing on political differences, when they should be focusing on their responsability on the murders that have been commited!  What sort of people have we become, that we can watch a pleading, innocent man being killed (exclusively by the color of his skin) in an 8 minute video on national television, & instead of UNITING in an unrelentless DEMAND for JUSTICE we turn it into arguments between left & right? 

It’s not a QUESTION of “left or right”, it’s a question of CENTER! The starting point between left and right is the unbiased, wholesome center: point 0. If at that 0,0000001 point, that starts tending towards left or right we do not AGREE that killing an innocent man is ethically (& repulsively!) WRONG, we’ve got a serious problem with our moral values. 

What kind of person have you become that you sustain the idea that there is ANY room for arguments on weather we should be more inclined to the left or to the right?!There should be NO argument, NO attempt to justify who’s right & who’s wrong; murdering an un-armed, complying human being is wrong - Period!
